Angus And Bisson Offer Condolences To Quebec Town

Charlie Angus says the horrific train explosion inLac-MéganticQuebechas touched people across the country. Speaking on behalf of the people ofTimmins-JamesBay, Angus expressed his support and sympathy to the families and the first responders.
“Many of our communities were built along the rail line and so the images of the devastation in Mégantic touch very close to home. We are praying for those who died as a result of the explosion and we hope those who have gone missing will be found soon.”
Timmins-James Bay MPP Gilles Bisson says all Canadians are feeling the impact of this tragedy.
“It doesn’t matter which part of the country an event occurs, we all come together and offer our support. For the people of Lac-Mégantic, the full extent of the damage and loss of life may not be known for some time. We want them to know we are thinking of them at this terrible time.”
