Angus Busking For Accessible Transit

Charlie Angus is taking his guitar to the streets ofIroquoisFallsto help raise money for the Access Transit bus service. Angus is participating in the annual Busker's Festival, which raises money for a fully-equipped special needs bus. Angus has been a regular participant in the event for the past 7 years.
"I never miss the Busker's Festival. It is a great community event. Many local musicians come out to entertain the people on the streets of Iroquois Falls. The money goes to a good cause."
The Busker's Festival is taking place on August 11 from 1- 4 pm. Angus, a former professional musician and two-time Juno nominee says he is often asked to play music at area events.
"Music brings people together. I have sung at cultural celebrations, legion events and at local schools. I have played many, many times for people in the Falls."
Angus is spending the summer working in the various communities across his vast riding.
