ANGUS PAYS TRIBUTE TO YOUNG FEMALE MINER KILLED ON JOB

Charlie Angus rose in Parliament today to express the sadness of the region over the recent death of 22-year-old Alexie Dallaire Vincent at the St. Andrews Goldfields Mine. It is believed that her death was a “terrible milestone” marking the first death of a female worker underground inOntario.

ANGUS THANKS CAREGIVERS AND HOME SUPPORT

This past weekend was National Care Giver Day and today is World Health Day. Timmins-James Bay MP Charlie Angus stood in the House of Commons today to draw attention to the dedicated work of family members, volunteers and paid support workers in providing care across this country. Angus says, with an aging population, the role of caregivers will become increasingly important.
