Stephen Harper making things up again

Over the course of this campaign Stephen Harper has made things up. He’s repeated this made-up stuff so often people don’t even bother pointing it out.

Today, Stephen Harper made these things up:

The Opposition parties will form a coalition with the support of the Bloc Quebecois. This isn’t true. Jack Layton said as much in his platform.

Harper had no plans to become Prime Minister in 2004. This isn’t true.

The Canadian Labour Congress supported his Budget. This isn’t true either.

Households haven’t seen higher taxes. This isn’t true. Households in BC and Ontario have been hit with the HST which has been estimated to boost inflation by between 0.6% and 0.9%

Making things up isn’t Leadership.

Canadians should be able to trust their Prime Minister. You can’t trust Stephen Harper.
