Stephen Harper making things up again
April 22nd, 2011 - 4:03pm
Over the course of this campaign Stephen Harper has made things up. He’s repeated this made-up stuff so often people don’t even bother pointing it out.
Today, Stephen Harper made these things up:
The Opposition parties will form a coalition with the support of the Bloc Quebecois. This isn’t true. Jack Layton said as much in his platform. http://www.ndp.ca/platform
Harper had no plans to become Prime Minister in 2004. This isn’t true. http://bit.ly/gtz5yb
The Canadian Labour Congress supported his Budget. This isn’t true either. http://bit.ly/gsIiS1
Households haven’t seen higher taxes. This isn’t true. Households in BC and Ontario have been hit with the HST which has been estimated to boost inflation by between 0.6% and 0.9% http://bit.ly/hHjPVy
Making things up isn’t Leadership.
Canadians should be able to trust their Prime Minister. You can’t trust Stephen Harper.
